Service Design with empathy
Co-designing Future of Health Smart Homes with Baby Boomers: MDes thesis work at the University of Alberta
Project Goal
Understanding the needs of Baby Boomers for being able to live in a health smart home and improve the quality of their life and experiences via co-design approaches.
Also, we aim to show the role of designers in the design of HSHs and how they can shift the conversation and bring new tools to HSHs' team projects.
Methodology
Conducting a qualitative method by using generative techniques which includes:
(1) interviews with experts
(2)contextual interview with Baby Boomers,
(3) HSH lab visiting
(4) co-design session with Baby Boomers, which (includes self-led homework activities).
